nice weekend in { sd }

My mom and I went down to San Diego this past weekend, to visit some old family friends, connect with a Chinese worship music ministry, and visit Bread of Life Chinese Church on Sunday morning.  The last time I've been to this church was over 5 years ago, where I lead some youth group meetings.  It was good to be back.

This time, I was able to play a bit on my electric violin for worship and intercession in the main service, and share some encouraging testimonies with the youth as well.  The faith level of the entire group was built up.  At the end, I received prayer from the group for my upcoming China trip.  It was a blessing.

in { redding } ca

My friend Beau and I arrived in Redding last night, and we were fortunately able to catch the second half of Bethel Church's Sunday night service.  The meeting was packed out with thousands of people, and it was a revival atmosphere.  The presence of the Lord was strong.  And praise God we were able to find a good parking space not too far away from the sanctuary!  God is good.

We will be hanging out here today, and hopefully meet up with a friend of mine from Iceland.  May God order our steps!  Tonight we will drive down to Davis and stay with another friend.  It has been a great road-trip so far, lots of beautiful scenery and productive conversations.  Amen.

One more day and we will be down in LA.

{ back } from vancouver

I had a wonderful time in Vancouver, Canada, from last Sat to this Tues.  I got to see my parents, friends, and minister at Pastor Qian's Chinese church as well.  It was a great experience.

On Saturday night, I met up with youth at church, led worship on electric guitar and violin, shared a word, and prayed/prophesied over individuals.  They were blessed and touched by God!  Sunday service was more violin and guitar worship, and preaching and praying.  God really moved.  Amen!

I am now back in Seattle (officially Shoreline, WA).  I might go up again to Vancouver this summer.  God is good.
