{ arni's } family

During the final week of my recent Iceland trip, I got to stay with my friend Arni's family in their home.  It was great to meet Arni's wife and their three daughters for the first time.  We had a wonderful time of fellowship.  God is good!  Here are some pictures.

{ ctf } reykjavik

While I was in Iceland, I had the opportunity to play electric violin with the worship team at Catch the Fire church in Reykjavik.  I love this church and I have a number of good friends there.  May God bless CTF, and may CTF be a blessing to Reykjavik and the whole nation, leading many to our Lord Jesus Christ.

{ gilla } grill

During this past trip in Iceland I had the opportunity to play my electric violin in front of Gilla Grill, owned by my friend Thorgils, to release the sound of heaven into the open air, and bless the customers and passer-by's.

As you can see from the pictures, I was playing along with instrumental music from my laptop.  I had a pair of USB speakers that was plugged into my laptop, and I mic'ed the USB speakers with a vocal microphone, which was connected to the acoustic amp, which my electric violin sound came out of also.

With this setup, we had great amplification, and many people came by to listen (and to buy hot dogs!).  That first time I played at Gilla Grill, was the best day they ever had (with the most customers) up to that point.  Praise the Lord!  May God continue to bless Thorgils and Gilla Grill.
